We wanted to take this opportunity to remind our clients to review your drug testing program and policies. Conducting regular assessments with the guidance of legal counsel is highly encouraged. You may want to consider screening in compliance with the state(s) your business is located, along with the state(s) your applicants reside and work in. The shift to remote work is an added complexity for many employers.
Recognizing that many of these laws do have exemptions (i.e., safety sensitive positions, public safety, positions requiring licensure), each state is uniquely administered and requires a careful assessment for your specific employment circumstances.
SSC continues to be supportive of our clients in building custom background screening and drug testing programs. Do consider that we offer drug testing options WITH or WITHOUT Marijuana/THC screening.
If you would like to make changes or inquire further about your account drug testing panels - please contact SSC immediately for additional information at 203-925-6186 or email BSI@smgcorporateservices.com. Let’s have a conversation about the options available for your specific needs.
